Training Log 8-10-13 to 8-16-13

Another good week of running:

Sat: 20 mile long run- In the "zone", these kind of runs are one of the motivations for doing this sport.
Sun: 5 mile Mission Peak hike.  2000 climb, jog the downhill.  Felt great.
Mon: am: 5.6 easy, pm: 4.5 easy- felt awesome
Tues: am: tempo at Rancho 6.28 with 1025 climb, pm: 4.5 easy- still good
Wed: am: 6 easy, pm: 3 easy- feeling good for intervals next morning
Thur: am: 2 warm up, 12 x 400m, 2 cool down, pm: 4.5 easy, pm2: racquetball.  Got to the track with Jean, Bob and Mike, it was great to kick it with the guys again.  Legs were peppy all the way through...
Frid: a.m. 5.6 easy

Total: 67.5 miles running.  24 miles bike (commute to work 3 days). My best week of running since last year.  Feel like my running is on fire right now.  Man, I hope I can keep this up until Firetrails!
